I'm James Robinson, owner of Kukui Kai Home Services. Before becoming a home inspector, I spent over 30 years construction and contracting. I hold InterNACHI CPI certification, SPRK Solar PV inspector certification - one of only a few certified solar inspectors on the west side of the island - and InterNACHI Infrared Certified Thermography certification (Thermal Imaging). That hands-on experience allows me to not only identify issues, but also explain what they mean, how serious they are, and possible ways to address them. I am based in Captain Cook, South Kona, and serve all of West Hawaii.

My goal isn't just to find problems — it's to help buyers, sellers, and agents clearly understand the condition of the property so they can move forward with confidence.
